OPENING PLANNED FOR 2013!

Equally revered are Charlie Chaplin, author and filmmaker, and the legendary Little Tramp.  We all identified with this little vagabond, marginalized, noble, generous and always amusing: a loving and personable character invented by Chaplin the artist through his enormous talent for mime, providing humour coupled with reflection.
Chaplin is known universally as:

  • A brilliant actor who breathed life into a noble character (The Little Tramp) who amused and touched filmgoers of all ages and every society across five continents;
  • An impassioned mime who combined gesture and picture to give the burgeoning film industry a depth of emotion heralding a new dimension to the golden age of film;
  • A daring and innovative screenwriter who painted the human condition with a critical eye, funny at times, yet touching, reflecting on the dreams and delusions of everyman;
  • A meticulous film director, passionate in his quest for perfection, a master of imagery and lighting who raised the industry standards to untold heights;
  • A prolific producer whose art remains significant, universal and inspiring even today, when there is such a great need for laughter and emotion.
